PPB Lending a Helping Hand to Underprivileged Primary Students

In 1Q2013, Putrajaya Perdana Berhad (PPB) rolled out a series of financial aids for primary school students under its School Adoption Programme. This is because of PPB’s strong belief in education functioning as the key enabler in building a responsible developed nation and high morale society. Therefore, financial assistance were extended to three schools during this period to assist the underprivileged students in continuing their primary education with peace of mind.

Mr. Goh Ceah Chuang, CEO of Putra Perdana Construction Sdn Bhd (PPC) was present on the day to hand over the cheque to Ms. Supuletchemi Nallappan, Headmistress of SJK (T) Ladang West Country (Barat), Kajang.

On 22 February 2013, PPB funded the transportation cost for 11 Standard One underprivileged students from SJK (T) Ladang West Country (Barat) in Kajang for the entire year of 2013. This initiative is to ease the financial burden of the parents of these students so that their children can get to school with no hassle under PPB’s School Adoption Programme 2012/2013.

SJK (T) Sungai Manggis, Banting

On 22 March 2013, PPB sponsored lunches for 16 underprivileged students from SJK (T) Sungai Manggis, Banting who are attending extra classes in preparation for their UPSR examination this year.

SJK (C) Chin Woo

On 22 March 2013, Mr. Sit Kam Hock, Chief Financial Officer of PPB presented a cheque of RM7,200 to Mr. Tan Kim Huay, Headmistress of SJK (C) Chin Woo to finance the extra UPSR tuition classes for 16 underprivileged students.
